“SBR punches you in the face, bleeding & begging, thank you sir may I have another!?”

Shadow Beat Ritual is big sound whose riffs pack a heavy punch. The music is great, but its hard to focus on their talent as musicians when the beautiful Shadow Dolls, scandalously dressed and blessed with God’s greatest gifts, shake their assets on stage during the performance.

Local nu-metal titans Shadow Beat Ritual seem to have a good thing going, appearing at this year’s California Music Fest in Ventura and harboring a sizeable fan base here in the Bay Area. Musically, the group draws influence from bands like Korn, Papa Roach, and Linkin’ Park, while aesthetically, well, it’s all about sex. A trio of buxom models who are apparently the band’s official mascot team lend to SBR’s hedonistic image, which is further enhanced by their pledge to make music that will “make your girl get so nasty…you’ll never want it to end.” Oh Elvis, see what you started.
